The more times you craft the same item, the better you get at it! Every item has a Craft Progress Chain that advances as you craft more of that item, with rewards at certain number breakpoints. For example, the Breastplate unlocks a new blueprint once you've made 7 Breastplates, another new blueprint once you've made 18, is able to be sold for twice as much once you've made 32, and is more likely to be crafted at a higher quality level once you've made 50 (with another improvement at 80).
